Instructions for the PE game “The vampires”. SITUATION: There are two teams. Four of you are the vampires. The rest of you are normal humans. RULES: DOS: The vampires must try to catch the humans. The humans must try to escape from the vampires. When a vampire catches a human, the human becomes vampire. When the teacher shouts: ¡ is day !, the vampires lie down on the floor and sleep. However, when the teacher shouts: ¡ is night !, the vampires wake up and go out to catch the normal humans. DONTS: The vampires can’t catch the normal humans when they are sleeping. No one can go outside the boundary. OBJECTIVE: The aim of the game is that the vampires must try and catch the humans. END: The game ends when there are no more humans, or when I blow the whistle twice, like this (peeep! peeep!). SAFETY: Be careful not to hurt each other. CHECKING: Do you understand the rules? Any questions? What do you do if you are the vampire? PREPARING TO START: First we choose four children to be the vampires. When I blow the whistle, you start!
